Many times I have said in meetings "I am so stealing that!" in response to something wise or clever. And then I promptly forget it. I am going to try to remember them in future by listing them here.

Hmm. The main challenge appears to be remembering to put them here!

  • The STAR method of answering job applications means explaining a situation and what you did in four parts. STAR is a mnemonic and stands for:
    • Shitshow I worked at
    • Twat's instructions
    • Arseing about that I did
    • Regrets
  • Fancy Dancing - avoiding a decision or the truth or otherwise skirting around a subject. - Ellen B.
  • Set gums bumping - Carl N. Much the same as "Set hares running".
  • I don't take paracetamol for someone else's headache - Temi.
  • You can lead a horse to water but you cannot stop it drinking its own piss. - CA
