Viewing .chm files in WINE

I installed Cindex (indexing software) but the help file is not processed properly by Wine.

I wish I could tell Wine: "When you get told to open a .chm file on the fake C:, open it using the Linux app xCHM instead".

Instead, I copied the .chm to a Linux directory, installed xCHM, made xchm the default application for .chm files and put 'xchm /directory/file.chm' in the menu.
